SLOPPY JOES

1 ONION, CHOPPED
2 RIBS CELERY, CHOPPED
1 JALAPEÑO, CHOPPED
1/2 GREEN BELL PEPPER, CHOPPED
4 CLOVES GARLIC, MINCED
1 POUND GROUND BEEF
3/4 C CANNED CRUSHED TOMATOES
1/3 C KETCHUP
1 TSP TABASCO
1 T WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
SALT AND PEPPER

SAUTÉ ONIONS, CELERY, AND PEPPERS IN 1 T OF OLIVE OIL UNTIL SOFT. ADD GARLIC AND COOK 3-4 MINUTES.

ADD MEAT. COOK ON HIGH HEAT UNTIL BROWNED.

ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND COOK ON MEDIUM UNTIL THICK (15-30 MINUTES).

SERVE ON TOASTED HAMBURGER BUNS.

NOTE:

THE SAUCE (WITHOUT THE BEEF) IS GOOD FOR PULLED PORK SANDWICHES TOO.
