12 OZ FLANK STEAK, CUT INTO SLICES
SALT
1 ONION, CHOPPED
4 CLOVES GARLIC, CHOPPED
1 T OIL
1 T BUTTER
1 POUND MUSHROOMS, CHOPPED
3/4 TSP PEPPER
2 TSP WORCESTER SAUCE

CHOPPED PARSLEY
SOUR CREAM
COOKED RICE

SLICE AND SALT MEAT.

BROWN MEAT IN SMALL BATCHES IN OIL. REMOVE MEAT FROM POT.

ADD BUTTER AND SWEAT ONIONS AND GARLIC UNTIL SOFTENED.

ADD MUSHROOMS AND CONTINUE TO COOK ON LOW UNTIL THEY SOFTEN AS WELL.

RETURN MEAT TO POT, ADD PEPPER AND WORCESTER SAUCE, AND SIMMER BRIEFLY.

SERVE ON RICE TOPPED WITH A SPRINKLE OF PARSLEY AND A GOOD DOLLOP OF SOUR CREAM.
