BREAK EGGS OVER APPLES.
ADD SUGAR, CINNAMON, OIL, NUTS. MIX.
SIFT FLOUR, SALT, SODA TOGETHER (OR PULSE TOGETHER BRIEFLY IN FOOD PROCESSOR). MIX WITH APPLE GUNK, BRIEFLY. DO NOT MIX SMOOTH.
GREASE AND FLOUR 9X13" PAN. ADD APPLE GUNK TO PAN.
BAKE AT 350° UNTIL TOOTH PICK COMES OUT CLEAN (~25-30 MINUTES).

NOTES:This is the recipe as handed down to me, but I think it needs some adjustments and I need to experiment more. Adding 15 minutes at 250° to the end to avoid the bimodal gushiness/over-browned issue.
